Hey Michael w,
Yes, the ghosts of a person are there actions and words that haunt you in your daily life. The ghosts of my grandparents tell me to not spend money, be frugal, be kind, work hard. The ghost of my childhood adviser constantly tells me the word "can't" does not exist.
Wanting to know about my Ancestors through this GENEALOGY section question - I am learning about my roots and any ghosts they may have for me to discover.
Casper - or some 'reality' of souls trapped here - that I do not know. I have never seen an apparition.

A ghost is an alleged non-corporeal manifestation of a dead person (or, sometimes, an animal or a vehicle). There is much debate on whether ghosts are spirits of deceased people or a naturally occuring phenomenon. Yes indeed Mike. I could tell you of personal experiences that have happened to me right here in my home town as well as to me in far off places. I am ussually reluctant to relate these things because people start looking for someone in a white coat to call. I can say that some of the happenings were very scary, and some were very funny. I sometimes get a chuckle remembering the funny ones. Most if not all the ghosts I have encountered died violently. Some in war, some were murdered. Believe it or not, the young woman who was shot while tending bar in one of our local haunts (no pun intended) was or is the ghost with the sense of humor.
So, yes I believe there are ghosts.

yes there are ghosts. Some think there are only the bad kind of ghosts but I think there are good and bad types of ghosts

Yes, there are ghosts. The library that I do my Genealogy research at has plenty ghosts. I have seen the famous "Grey Lady" myself.
It is very interesting that you put your question in the Genealogy category considering our ancestors maybe ghosts. Since, you are wanting to see them, check it out.
