i think you should finish the course first.
even if u do it for a yr and think that u wanna do something else, DONT. it all abt skills nowadays and a diploma in IT, esp. if its something unique sounds like a real good idea.
Finish the course first.. then if u wanna do nursing, consider it then. I dropped out 2 yrs into poly for no real reason save i didnt wanna do IT as a career. I regret it and IT has become my career anyway haha. You dont know wht the future's gonna bring.. finish wht u start and then do somethin else.

I also would think a nursing degree as an RN would be best. My daughter is in her second year and will be getting her Rn this coming May. It is not easy but there is such a demand for nurses right now and depending where you are you can make a good amount of money. My daughter is going to continue on and get her BS and Masters so that she will have many opticians, but it is a lot of hard work.

Take the IT course for now until you can get in to nursing next year. A nurse with some IT training would be a good combination of skills. Hospitals are full of computers and stuff.

You should give IT a try even though it is not your ideal choice. Since it is a new course, I think there should be prospect in the near future and you can always learn new things after you graduate from your current course. I do understand how you feel at this moment but when you are in working life, you will face more of this situation. So think it carefully on what you intend to do after you graduate and from there you should be able to decide on your course of study

Oh, dont look like youve had much support since not getting into the nursing. It's not forever, why not just get the IT under your belt for now and perhaps go do the nursing at a later date?
It doesn't help much I'm afraid I just felt for you thats all

I think you should go for nursing course, because of our country (Singapore) ageing population is growing. Thus, the prospect is always there. Better not to take up IT, because is a course where it is always changing very fast, you cannot stop and have to keep updating yourself even you graduated.
