Romantic relationships are but one aspect of human love out of many. Don't over focus and neglect the other types of loves and you will be making better sense out of human love.

According to Bhagavad Gita,

The Nature of the soul is Eternity, Knowledge and Bliss. It is ever seeking for Bliss or Happiness. This is stated in Vedanta Sutra.

Actual Happiness is derived by loving relationship exchanges.
Suppose I close you in a house alone, but provide you will all kinds of materials. Would you be happy. The Answer is No.
So soul is hankering for these relationships as it gives him Happiness.

The Highest Relationship of this love is with God. As God is unlimited, loving exchanges with God is also unlimited.

Soul is hankering for that unlimited Love. He does derive a small drop of that love from Humans or other living entity too. After all living entity are also Spirit Souls.
But Humans are not eternal and they cannot satisfy this eternal hankering of the Soul.
Still this Relationship can also give much more happiness if both revive their Loving relationship with God. Then their Relationship of love become connected with God and gives satisfaction to the Soul..
But if God is removed, then it leads to ultimately dissatisfaction.

Hope this explains.

Think of human love as a reflection of God's love for all of his creation. Connecting with your fellow human beings on a spiritual and emotional level is the only thing that makes sense. It's the reason you're here.

hey there is a time for everything

we are not simply a pile of dough that society cookie cuts and tells us what to experience and think

unless you like that...

your own life is for you, maybe you will never have a 'relationship'

there is plenty in life else that is worth living for

romance to me is simply an overwhelming desire to reproduce and live forever in your offspring, the reproductive organs and brains tend to go into overdrive and make us go bananas during the peak of our time...

there is more to it...we also like pleasure and intrigue and 'the dance' of power, control, manipulation and 'giving in'

learn to love and accept yourself, feel confident and you will attract a person who like you for being you and go from there

how can you love others if you have trouble with self

They are a lot of pros and cons to them for sure. Moments of bliss and then bitterness.Where as when you are alone there is a lot of desperation. But sometimes there is a peaceful solitude. I guess there is no stable state to be found and the yin and yang of it is to go with the flow and realize time changes things for the better and worse.

Not when devotion, dedication and unity are not there with it.
With those things gone, eventually unfaithfulness will step in and you will get hurt bad. Be carefull
