Tests are usually fairly reliable so it seems unlikely. It is possible that you have convinced yourself you are pregnant and therefore you are getting the symptoms. It's happened to me in the past so the best thing you can do is try to stop thinking about it (I know, easier said than done), give it a week and do another test if nothings happened. Make sure you're eating properly and getting enough rest.
Good luck!

There are false negatives from these at home tests. It sounds like you may be a bit too eager for an answer than what these tests are sensitive for. If possible wait 1 week then retest if still negative & no cycle has begun have a test done at a clinic or dr's office - these tend to be more sensitive to the small amounts of the hormone which signals pregnancy than the store bought ones. Good Luck!

Although the HPT packages say they can detect pregnancy as early as a day before your expected period, but sometimes it's just a matter of whether the woman has enough HCG built up in their system by that time.
With my second pregnancy, I took a test the week after my period was due. Negative. Then the following week. Negative. I took another one. Negative again. By that time I was starting to think something was seriously wrong with me. But I took one more a week later and it was a faint positive. Looking at it from a normal distance, it looked negative, but upon closer inspection, that little extra line was there! It was two weeks later when I was able to get into the doc's office and by that time, my body had enough HCG to give them a definite, unquestionable pos. result.
So, you could do two things...just wait it out and see...or just make an app't with your doc. They will either do a blood test or another urine test.
Congratulations! And Good Luck!! ;-)

I would try again in a few days. It is possible to get a false negative but the tests nowadays - especially clearblue - are extremely sensitive and would usually pick up the hormones from the day your period is due.

Out of three pregnancies I NEVER tested positive on a urine test. Wait a week test again and if still negative and no af go see your dr.
