When you once download a new program do you read everything about which is entitled az(help) icon? Is it recommended to read everything about it? though you know how to use the basics?

No not really, I flick through the paragraphs, but don't actually sit and read everything. Not only that, they use such lingo that half the time I don't understand it anyway. I just think after I have agreed to the terms, that I've not agreed to something I don't understand, but nothing has come back on me as of yet, and I have been using the internet for 12 years.

No. Its left to you, if you know the platform/basics or acknowledge the software then i dont think you need to go for a help.

Trail and error is the best way to learn...

If you need some help with the program, using the Helps. If you don't need the helps, don't bother with it.
