Absolutely not. Chips may have begun has potatoes, but they are processed over and over again. They contain many fats and other ingredients that regular potatoes do not have.
So, eating five chips would actually be put into the fats and oils group at the very top of the food pyramid.

No, you'd have to eat 5 whole potatoes, as a chip is only part of a vegetable. Or, alternatively, eat 5 potatoes-worth of crisps and feel content in the knowledge you're following a healthy lifestyle :)

Don't be silly - you need 5 balanced and varied portions. Yes a potato is part of your 5 but you need to eat other fruit and veg as well - preferably not fried.Eat as much raw and fresh stuff daily to stay healthy.

chips are carbs and fryed is fat...
veg and fruit are of a such large variety and the more you eat the better! have them fresh and natural... try to fry less, there are so many light and healthy recipes!
