It's a load of rubbish.
I'm bald and hardly ever wear hats, yet friends who regularly wear then have a full head of hair.
And in fact my grandfather was adamant his hair grew back during the war - because he was forced to wear a helmet most of the time.

Yes, that is actually true. I don't know why so many people
above say it is not. For this reason, Michael Jordan is now bald ~
to hide the baldness caused by wearing baseball hats too often.
My Dad and his brothers all golf and found this out about 12 years
ago ~ after the fact, but early enough to warn my brothers. It is
very true and I have seen the evidence firsthand.

Balndess is a recessive genetic trait.
Certna things can ruin the follicale or damage the scalp etc and thus disrupt normal hair growth, such as excessive bleaching, coloring, chemical treatment etc and perhaps to an extent always wearing a hat.
But I consider the damage therefrom to be minimal compared to chemical treatments, and the effetcs from a hat would be far less and I even think REVERSIBLE, when compared to genetics which is unstoppable (at the present moment) ;)

It is untrue that you will go bald from wearing hats, but you can actually cause your hair to thin in places if you constantly adjust the hat on your head. I've known people who have actually worn some of the hair off of their head by the movement of the hat. Of course it will grow back when the source of the irritant is removed.

Total myth. Baldness is caused by a genetics. The gene is usually from the mother's side of the family. Hats play no role whatsoever.

It depends upon the type of Hat you wear. Wear a hat which does not make your head wet coz of sweat. Because salt in the sweat gets dried on the scalp and causes irritation and loosens the hair roots thereby resulting in hair fall. Try to avoid Tea,coffee and tobacco products.

No it is not true. It may appear that way because people who are balding wear hats more to hide the fact.

It's the other way around...they wear hats...like other people....but when they start thining, they wear hats more and more to hide the fact that they are becoming bald...so it's a tool for hiding the fact.

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://tr.im/87nHg
While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.

Yes, the circulation is actually cut off if your hats are too tight, air is not that big of a factor, but the head band itself can cause pre-mature hair loss, faster if you are predisposed.
