Im trying to clear space on my C drive and was wondering..
I have both of these updates in my Add/Remove programmes.
Is it safe for me to delete the Update 4? I have the standard edition Java 2 ver 1.3 installed and if i delete the Update 4 will it affect my system as i have the Update 6 installed?...

no. you can delete update 4 with no problem. update six has all the drivers from update 4 and a few others

i removed java totally from my laptop, and its made no difference to its operation.. it didnt make any difference to the space, not like you think it would... download something free called 'ccleaner', run it and see what it gets rid of... also, goto 'my computer' drive 'c' and right click, properties, then 'compress drive' that will give you more space.. also, disk defragmenter/disc cleanup helps too.....
