Jesus didn't say a word about homosexuality, abortion or anything of the sort.

Look folks, I said JESUS! Jesus did NOT mention homosexuality (which did exist in his time) or abortion. Exodus mentions abortion or "causing a child to be lost" and considers it less of a crime than stealing sheep, actually

Greed has minimal titillating value.

Christians only get bothered about sex when it is outside of marriage. Adultery and fornication often leads to the problems of unexpected pregnancy and abortions (murdering a child) to cover up that irresponsibility, many kinds of sexually transmitted diseases and divorce. Surveys have actually shown that evangelicals have the best sex lives in our society. So much for Hollywood and the porn scene. Trying to say that if Jesus didn't say this or that then it is not so is absolutely wrong. The Bible tells us Jesus is the Word of God and the Scriptures are a reflection of that. Besides that you have apostles that were Jesus' first followers and they spread His teachings including reinforcing the O.T. teaching against homosexuality and that its a child being in the womb. If people only want to accept the actual quotes of Jesus then there would only be a tiny fraction of the Bible left. Jesus did talk about Sodom and Gomorrah so he does make reference to homosexuality in that way.

Preaching more about greed would be a good thing. The reason you hear more preaching involving homosexuality is because the major media and political groups are always puting it in our face and people like yourself bring it up.

Abortion is murder, dimwit. You're killing another human being. That's murder. Plain and simple. We don't grow animals or plants in our stomach and then give birth to a baby, we grow little people in our stomachs and then give birth to babies, DUH. So if we kill it we're killing a person. That's murder. And yes, Jesus did talk about killing. It's against the Ten Commandments.

He also spoke about homosexuality.
Read about Sodom and Gamorrah in the Bible.
Jehovah is Jesus Christ.
And irregardless of whether or not you believe that, Jehovah is God anyway, and he burned that place down to the ground because they were homosexuals. It's pure PERVERSION. God did not intend for people to love the same sex. He commanded us to multiply and replenish the earth. If he approved of homosexuality then he would be inconsistent because those types of pervs cannot multiply and replenish the earth, so they'd be breaking that commandment.

Also, all of us know what is the difference between right and wrong. We're born with this knowledge. But many of us snuff out these feelings/promptings of the difference until we are past-feeling and think anything goes and who cares and I'll do whatever the hell I want.

You'll pay for it. Believe me. Your time is coming.

And greed? Well, that is a HUGE problem, among everyone!! It sickens me, honestly, and I am a Christian.
Believe me, it's a soft spot with me, too!!

1. Judaism forbids homosexuality so Jesus didn't bother to forbid what is already forbidden.
2. Abortion was not an option at his time.
3. About Greed, I think christian institutions have a tender heart for "fat cats"

Umm, actually Christians do talk about greed. It just may not get the air time or be as noticed/pointed out by non-Christians. Heck, now that you mention it, the Christian sermon I listened to week before last was about greed and covetousness. So I would say we have a straw man here.

Correct. That is because those things did not exist, and if they did then it was well hidden. Greed was much more common, and it is a sin that should be preached more about today. Everyone I know is greedy, and only a few have abourtions or are homosexual.

Jesus also said that a guaranteed way into heaven is to sell everything you have and give it to the poor. When's the last Christian you knew who did that? They pick and choose what to believe from the bible.
