Working in a busy undersea diner i have had to deal with this problem on many occasions. To facilitate a faster delivery of tea/coffee a fast dissolving sugar cube is essential. After much theorizing and many double blind test , it was discovered the best way to quicken the apparent dissolution of a sugar cube was to REDUCE THE SIZE OF THE CUBE. A smaller cube disappeared faster. Now lets go jelly-fishing.
