If this is for a debate, then you need to do research from an actual source. People on answers are frequently incorrect and frequently give wrong answers on purpose. Also, if you are asked for a source during your debate and you give "Yahoo! Answers", you will be laughed into a loss as it's not a professional or medical source.
You need to look at sites that deal with alcoholism, webmd, possibly the AMA site, and even medical journals and verify that the sources are reliable and reputable. "Because JoeBlowhole said so on Yahoo! Answers," is not a reliable source.

Drinking alcoholic drinks can damage the brain cells. People say that alcohol can make you feel better when feeling down but it actually makes you feel worse then you did before later on. My grandad died of drinking too much he had had drunk since he was young and one day he just collapsed in his own home poor chap.
