You will be broke pretty soon and your wife or girlfriend may leave you, other than that it's all good.

Alcohol has a lot of empty calories so if you're trying to lose weight, you should cut way back. Also it inhibits your thinking and many times this causes changes in our attitudes and we do things that we would never do if we were sober. For example drinking and driving or sleeping with someone we would never think of being with.

Alcohol can be fun, but you have to control it and not let it control you!

i remember 'alcoholic cirrhosis ' as a disadvantages of it. Alcoholic cirrhosis is a condition of irreversible liver disease due to the chronic inflammatory and toxic effects of ethanol on the liver. In cirrhosis, the liver cells are replaced by fibrous scar tissue. Fibrosis leads to the development of portal hypertension. The development of cirrhosis is directly related to the duration and quantity of alcohol consumption. The manifestations of cirrhosis are related to the liver's inability to not adequately remove waste products from the bloodstream and the effects of portal hypertension.

BTW: If you don't want to suffer from a hangover the next day drink a can of V8 & 2 bottles of water & do 30 min of cardio before you go to sleep after drinking. It always works, hangover free!
