There's this guy in my class and we talk to each other occasionly (sp?) and he broke up with his ex a few weeks ago and I have fancied him for ages. I sit next to him in most of our lessons because we're next to each other in the register. But I cant think of anything to say to him....

Bump into him and excuse yourself, Drop something of yours near him and excuse yourself again to pick it up. Little things can make a big difference. Ask him something legitimate for homework that you may need help from. Hopefully you two can strike up a conversation after all that.

joke around with him a little bit ask him silly questions like why did god gives you a good looking face etc. then when you got his attention flirt a little bit thats it, just dont forget to do your homework when you get home or else your grounded

you should be yourself.
ofcourse you should drop the occasional hey! or whats up? but be discreet he might think that your irritating if you try to talk to him too much.
ask him how he's doing occasionally he would think that you care about him.. but again not too much or he would say that you care too much...
but my original advise is that you be yourself it never goes wrong..

you need to be witty.. when you guys are " small talking " if something silly comes to mind let it out.., if it wasn't that funny just shrug it off and move on. if that doesn't work try saying '' nice pants'' like the old dockers commercials...
