Not really a fort but He spent a lot of time in the Jerusalem Holiday Inn as He was able to take advantage of their special 'Messiah Discount' offer.

I dont believe that they had any "forts" back then.
They may have had walled cities, but, they werent considered "forts".
And JESUS was mostly into the "simple people", where HE stayed, or was left fending for HIMSELF on the road.

jesus said under trial that his kingdom was not of this world. he had no physical place to exercise his kingship as heaven would be the place of his throne
