Matthew 27:3 (New Living Translation)

3When Judas, who had betrayed him, realized that Jesus had been condemned to die, he was filled with remorse. So he took the thirty pieces of silver back to the leading priests and other leaders.

JUDAS was so sorry for what he did... but he took the "JUDGEMENT" in his own hand.... Judas didnt let the Father judge him .. until now judas is not yet in heaven or in hell... he is still waiting to be judge in the last judgement.. Hell or heaven we dont know the judgement of God

Honestly KNOW One REALLY knows for sure, but God......

He went to his Own place

Jesus also told the 12 apostles, You 12 will Judge Israel in heaven and Judas was one of the 12

Remember It says you have to REPENT when you sin.

Peter Denied Christ but Repented and has a place at the Gate of Heaven

No.
He repented to the very men that bribed him, which made his repentance unacceptable to God.

The Bible is clear concerning Judas' wicked and greedy heart condition which also made his repentance unacceptable.

And Jesus, after he was resurrected, refered to Judas as the 'son of perdition'.

Joh 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

By the way, the complete account of Judas' suicide is this-----during his hanging over a cliff, the rope, or tree limb broke and Judas hit the rocks below 'loudly', and burst open, according to the book of Acts.

I think that's a great question. Several people in the Bible commit suicide - and his was based on, apparently, true repentance for what he did. Seeing as how Judas played a crucial role in Jesus's death - which is meant to have been the plan all along and necessary for our salvation, it seems odd to me that he should be punished - he ought to be praised, right? Without him, Jesus might not have been crucified and we might not have a chance for salvation.

If you believe that kind of thing, that is...

According to Islam, Judas died on the cross not Jesus. Jesus was lifted to heaven before the Romans could arrest him. God made Judas' appearance look like Jesus and they crucified him instead... probably as a punishment for deceiving Jesus.

God is merciful. If he truly repented for his treachery, there was a greater chance that he'd go to heaven.

But then, he hung himself, and took his life away with his own hands, so....i think whatever chance he had before vanished.

He's probably somewhere down there amidst the furnace.

I love this question because I have wondered it myself. I cannot say for sure because when asked, Jesus says, "What is that to you". He avoids the question. But to me, Judas is sorry for His crimes against Jesus and repents, hangs himself. But then again Jesus says," He only lost one, " so it is hard to say. I guess that is where we should not judge for God knows the heart.

matthew 12:31,32 say that those sinning against the spirit will not be resurrected. judas sinned against Gods son, and against his holy spirit. therefore he will not get a resurrection. ecclesiastes9:5 says the dead are conscious of nothing, and psalm37:11 says the meek inherit the earth. he is dead, and will not be resurrected to earth

"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)

" God is patient and longsuffering, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance". - From the bible

WOW! Great question as I've asked it myself. Either way you go it is pure speculation but the good news is you'll get to ask Christ in person one day for yourself and get the right answer. God Bless!
