Cats don't like orange, lemon or garlic. You could put the peelings around the garden or use essential oils and dab the fragrance around the frequented areas.

i know this sounds disgusting but it really does work goto a fish mongers and buy a kipper then just simply wee on it i know your thinking this is a wind up but its not honestly does work or you could put a tin of tuna mixed with some anti-freeze in ya garden then the cat will become very thirsty then go into someone elses garden for a drink and never return to your garden ever again

Pepper or citrus. Also try putting cut brambles or holly where their favourite 'toilet' is, having a spike up the bum should deter them for a bit!

I also heard that (and I've not tried this one yet!) lion or tiger dung scattered around the perimeter of the garden is a hugely effective deterrent, though it does rely on you having a friendly local zoo and not minding having even bigger cat poo in the garden!

You can plant certain plants that cats really don't like the smell of especially citrus ones,or pepper ones.
