Maybe it is, but I wouldn't. there is a lot of stuff floating around in the air. Pollen, acid rain, etc..

Unless you are certain about the purity of that rainwater I would not use that for anything except watering the lawn. Much better to use distilled or spring waters water like you find in office water coolers.
