If you are a believer then good luck with figuring out all of the moral ambiguities thrust upon you by the bible or any other religious text.
It is believed by christians that the bible was written by god, but with the amount of inconsistencies that are in there this is, quite frankly, beyond belief. The bible was written by lots of different people, which explains all of the enormous inconsistencies!
This question sparks a religious debate, not a debate about pornography.
I would recommend reconsidering where your beliefs originally came from. Who introduced you to them and ask yourself can it be 100% certain that they were correct? I'm not saying that they were lying, just that they may have been mistaken. Then reread the bible and question it as you go.
Then, when you've sorted out your beliefs you can come up with your own answer.
Then go surfing for some great porn, which available to you everywhere!!

It depends on whose God you are talking about. I assume that you are referring to the gods of the major religions that are active and alive today, especially the monotheistic religions. Then the answer would be a flat-out 'no'!
However, if you are flexible enough to consider the more ancient religions, such as that of the Pagans, or even the ancient Romans, and many other even more ancient and lost religions - the answer would not just be 'yes', or 'hell, yeah', but, 'what kind of a question is that?'!
Of course, a unique nation like China had its own Confucius to deal with immorality, but I'll leave China out of it, because China was rather unique in its past seclusion from the world.
For the rest of the English-speaking world, I reckon you have the Holy Roman Empire to thank for stamping out the erotic stuff from both religious and daily lives.
Paradoxically, erotica is alive, to a lesser extent, albeit in much different forms today. Although it isn’t unusual for modern humans to profess high moral standards, right under our very noses, erotica rears her head. Sure, mild erotic imagery on the media isn’t porn, but hey, didn’t a Mr. Jesus tell us not to cause your brother to stumble – and also – not to look at a woman lustfully, lest you be already guilty of adultery in your heart? There you have it, the twin waters of moral restraint and blatant promiscuity sprouting from the same fountain!
So the answer to your second question would be: yes, porn does exist, but it isn't the Christian God who lets it happen (because that’s not His style?); it just happens, by mankind's own hand, just like every other man-made thing on Earth.
If your question really means, 'why do people make and enjoy porn', then you’ll need to search into the deep, deep study pit of sociology, sexuality etc. And it does not just involve the 20th century's industry of porn, but the roots go way back to the beginning of humanity, because the need for erotica always existed, even before mankind leant how to paint.
Now, what’s the flavour of your fount water?
P.s. for good Biblical, written porn, check out the Biblical book, Song of Songs. I know, the Church says it’s about Godly, Christ-like love – but read it carefully – and if that isn’t porn, then I’m afraid you’re missing out on the full pleasure of Song of Songs.

Well, the same goes with murder, robbery, rape and all the other "good" stuff that comes with life. Why does he let those atrocities happen, which by the way, is worse than porn.
Consider this, WE all have a choice. Unfortunately, A LOT OF US choose a path that is not loved by God.

For arguments sake let's say I even believe in God.
Any form of sex not condoned by the Bible would be considered work of the devil.
So in the end God will allow porn to test the strength of men. The strength to withstand temptation.
So no, God does not love porn, but does allow it.

Same reason He lets everything else happen. He's retired and living in Boca Raton, Florida in a nice little assisted living condo by the beach. He wears Bermuda shorts, sandals with black socks, a straw hat he got at the Wal-Mart, a Hawaiian print shirt, and those really huge wrap-around sunglasses. He has one of those canes with four little feet, but still manages to shuffle down to the beach every now and then to ogle the girls in their bikinis.
God retired a while ago, and has found little to keep him busy, other than sexual fantasy.

No, I'm sure he doesn't, after all God made sex as a celebration of marriage between a husband and wife. (I should know as i'm saving myself til i get married).
Porn was created by the devil and the earthly things of this world because it shows sexual immorality. He didnt let it happen, its to do with the bad things in the world because of the first sin from Adam and Eve, they were naked because they had no knowledge of what nakedness was.

Sex was created as a spiritual act, not a physical. Satan has used sexual sins because he knows we love ourselves and we hate to deny ourselves of certain pleasures. Everytime we sin, it's like a slap in God's face. Because He has already defeated sin. It's like we're telling Him that what He did wasn't enough and that He came in vain. We are free to make any choice we want. God has a perfect will and a permissive will. He'll let us mess us as long as we chose to do so. He loves us so much that He lets us live another day, so we can get it right. He doesn't want us going to Hell. It wasn't made for us. So, for those of us, who has gotten tired of "messing up", He has provide a way of excape. He is the way and His cross is the answer.
