The Scriptures clearly teach that the primary commission of the Christian congregation is to perform Christ's command to preach. There is no excuse for failing to pursue that work.
(Matthew 28:19,20) [Jesus said] Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching... You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
Yet Jehovah's Witnesses have no interest in annoying the householders in their territory. When a householder clearly requests that he receive no visits, his address is placed on a "Do Not Visit" list maintained by the local congregation. It seems that the only way a Jehovah's Witness could ignore a householder's request is if the original request was unclear, or possibly if the request were simply forgotten. Even very conscientious ministers sometimes make such mistakes.
It is also true that Jehovah's Witness congregations are distinguished by language assignment in addition to the typical geographic assignments; thus a neighborhood near Miami, for example, may be assigned to an English-language congregation and ALSO to a Spanish-language congregation. The communication between the two (or more) congregations may not be perfect.
Perhaps the best way for a night-worker such as this questioner to assure his slumber is to give his would-be visitor (who is actually standing at his door) an ALTERNATIVE in the moment before he knocks. Jehovah's Witnesses are very respectful of a clear conspicuous note such as:
"Night worker sleeping. Please NO KNOCK or doorbell until after 3:pm"

do no longer answer the door. placed an indication on the door that announces "No Preachers" or "No Jehovah's Witnesses". possibly in case you particularly need to comprehend why the keep knocking at your door you should basically ask them. Then while you're no longer fascinated say so. appears like a no brainer to me

Do some research and find the questions that the JW's don't have a biblical answer for. Then post those on your front door with a note inviting them to a former JW discussion group on how to convert JW's to Christianity.
I be they will avoid your door like the plague. JW's like to take a newbie and someone who has already done the foot patrol work and pair them together. The more experienced is trained to keep the newbie away from people who know how to ask/answer the questions they want avoided.

I actually did that. Don't knock it if it works. You'll get woke up one time too many and you'll be seeing it my way.
Go to the Kingdom Hall disturb them on a Sunday with a Bible study of your own.

Get a dog. A really big one. Maybe even a really big SCARY looking one (who of course is just a big cuddly teddy bear!).
Seriously...if putting a "daysleeper" sign on your door doesn't cut it, these people probably won't stop for anything. The next time they come over, politely remind them that you work all night and sleep during the day...and if they can't seem to get that through their thick heads, you'll be forced to get a restraining order.
Nothin' like using the law to scare people away!
Good luck, hun!

Have you thought of a sign that says "No visits from the Jehovah's Witness cult"?
Another way is to visit with them and ask them why you should believe them when God has forbidden you to listen to false prophets? Deuteronomy 13 and 18 tells us to ignore false prophets and it defines what a false prophet is.

JWs are not allowed to talk to anyone who has been chucked out of their religion - normal people would call that regaining sanity but JWs call it something like 'disfellowshiped' (may not be the right word) so if you put a sign up saying you have been 'disfellowedshiped' (you need to look up the right word) that should ward them off.

Tell them to put you on a DNR list. A do not return list, then they will not be able to knock on your door or bother you anymore.

Put a sign on your door saying "Currently praying to your God, do not disturb". Or threaten to chop off their hands. How about using sleeping pills or putting plugs in your ears so you can't hear them knocking?
