is this at all fair?
I think it 's a (SPIRITUAL) blackmail of gigantuan proportions. By the way this is not the only religion that profers the same fate is it?

what about the african tribe that has never had contact with th eoutside world, and has never heard of any religious dogma. Do they all go to hell? I hope not, thats if hell exists!
As regards the christian poster (answer 2 I believe), Islam hold jesus to be one of the most revered prophets, along with all the others like Moses, Noah, Adam etc. Muslims belive that it is the same God but christian messages were corrupted by officious editing of the original texts. The only difference is the muslims belive that Jesus was a man, one of the most spiritual, pious men who ever walked the earth, and not the son of god for we are all son of god.
Maybe the Dan Brown of the Da Vinci Code is a muslim, as the theories and certain aspects of the Koran start to fit togther.
To answer your question, its not fair at all. But we can only try and understand what a divine intellegence is thinking, by fitting it into our limited human perspective. We will never be able to undertsand it..... hence we have FAITH.

All religion is delusion but the really pernicious ones like Christianity and Islam use the scare tactic of hell to try to terrorize people into submitting.

On the judgement day, non-muslims will be begging Allah (God) to give them another chance. God has described good non-muslims who are good in nature and help others as the greatest loosers. Because whenever they do a good deed they will not do it in the name of God, but they do it in their own god's name. So when these people ask for God's mercy on the judgement day, God will tell them "Go and ask from your god, see if it can help you". I think it's very fair. Why should God have mercy on you when you mocked, cursed and made fun of Him in this world?

well accordin 2 islam its alright 2 go blow urself up and not care wot or who is in the way so i think its all a load of rubbish if u ask me its bad enough that parlimentry leaders get 2 dictate how we live our lives wit out some 1 who's been dead god no's how long dictating it the world has come on in leaps and bounds since them days and i think every1 needs 2 sort out there own problems b4 trying to tell some1 else wot 2 do about theres

According to Christian beliefs, if you do not Repent, are not Baptised, and believe that JESUS CHRIST is your only way to Heaven, then you will burn in Hell forever.

JESUS CHRIST is the only person, who was crucified for your sins, died, was burried and rose again so that you would know, that HE is the LORD, was seen by many followers, and rose into Heaven...

If anybody goes against Allah surely He/She will be burnt in Hell.To save ourselves from burning in Hell we need to believe in Allah.
I was never a strong believer but certain miracles in my life changed my life and I have felt the presence of Allah everywhere around me.

according to a lot of christians sects if you do not believe in god you will be burnt up in hell.
in fact there's a guy handing out leaflets in my town stating that if you associate with people who do not believe in god you'll be burnt up in hell.
No it isn't fair, it doesn't make any sense and quite frankly I find people who believe it to be true utterly vile hypocrites.
