The Holden!!

Dashing through the bush,
in a rusty Holden Ute,
Kicking up the dust,
esky in the boot,
Kelpie by my side,
singing Christmas songs,
It's Summer time and I am in
my singlet, shorts and thongs

Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,
Christmas in Australia
on a scorching summers day, Hey!
Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut!,
Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden Ute.

Engine's getting hot;
we dodge the kangaroos,
The swaggie climbs aboard,
he is welcome too.
All the family's there,
sitting by the pool,
Christmas Day the Aussie way,
by the barbecue.

Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,
Christmas in Australia
on a scorching summers day, Hey!
Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut!,
Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden Ute.

Come the afternoon,
Grandpa has a doze,
The kids and Uncle Bruce,
are swimming in their clothes.
The time comes 'round to go,
we take the family snap,
Pack the car and all shoot through,
before the washing up.

Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,
Christmas in Australia
on a scorching summers day, Hey!
Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut!,
Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden Ute.

Well in Australia there is a lot of holden and there is a lot of fords there that they don't not sell in the USA, and my Brother in law sends me a Australian Mag on the Fords that are available to you in Australia, and Wow if these Fords were sold over here all other car company's would go broke, Ford makes some hot looking stuff over their, and I have never driven a Holden so i cannot give you a true answer OK, tho I am a Ford Man I will stick with the Ford, but i have never heard anything bad on a Holden either

it is trouble-free ... confronted with the call of GM-Holden or Ford ... purchase a Subaru!!! 10.5 litres in line with 100km and precise velocity 275 kmh ... that'll do!! Will outrun any Ford or Holden on dirt or in a hill-climb!

As long as it's not the Holden that is the Isuzu Trooper rebadge, ugh, that was a piece of crap! even by American standards.

Ford and GM are both better down under than they are up here. My opinion is that you can't go wrong either way.
