It's cheaper on the internet. You can save nearly £200 via last minute or expedia. The cheapest time to go is January. The most expensive is New Year. The best time to go is in December.

they have an offer, I think its just over £200 to JFK if you book before September 26th, not sure when you have to depart by.
If you have no luck, then try virgin, as they seem to mirror BAs prices during promotions
