Some countries are excluded from US green card lottery program. This has been happening since 1998 when the policy changed.They say it is due to high number of immigrants from the country but does it never change. This is the only chance we have to get legally in USA, a dream though it has been for years. When is it likely to change.

welllllll, do to the fact that Pakistan is a Muslim country, yer chances of getting a green card is similiar to it snowing in hell. Unfortunate, but true

If Pakistan surrenders Osama Bin Laden, the green card lottery will immediately be given to Pakistanis.

Frankly, giving anyone from the Middle East a green card over here is a mistake. I have read about men from the Middle East and I don't want them here. Also, I would rather die than be a Muslim woman. They are treated worse than any animal. It would be better to be dead. If that is what your crazy religion does, you can keep that garbage to yourself.

i disagree with other 2 fellows sooner or later US will get the sense that most pakistanies are peaceful people especially after all their govt has done to help us in the war effort.

I think it should be illegal to give a green card to anyone. You need to stay out of the USA as well as everyone else. We have enough problems of our own, don't need anyone to cause problems for us.
