Hi, am a british girl looking for travel buddies and thinking of going on an adventure trip to Oz, have done quite a bit of travelling before but nothing on this scale, i am looking at going at the end of this year or early next year.....The aim is to have loadsa fun, meet peole from all walks of life and LIVE!! Sick and tired of this maudlin life! ANy advice about travelling to Oz will be appreciated, thanks!

I have some experience on travel. My advice is, don't you worry, you will meet many people even if you go alone. In Australia go to back packers, do not go to hotels! Then the rest will happen and you will have plenty of fund and meet many people. Just relax and you will see how easy everything will be! have a good trip.

There are loads of websites & guide books with advice about travelling to Oz.
Do some reading & research before you go. Ayres Rock, the Barrier Reef & Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb are 'must dos.' Have a great trip.

Make sure you visit the Gold Coast! It's beautiful with it's beaches and the shops are fantastic. Conrad Jupiters is there which has two stories of poker machines, etc and is brilliant. You can visit Ripley's Believe It or Not as well. I live three hours away from the Gold Coast and visit it as much as possible. There is heaps to do. I personally recommend dropping in there on your travels.
