Don't give him the satisfaction of a response. A real man doesn't treat a lady like that. Take the higher ground and cheerfully move on as you avoided a real petty person from getting any closer to your heart. He's childish and not worth your second consideration.

Leave it as it is. First of all he was not man enough to tell that to you face to face. Which makes him a chicken and second he does not deserve a kind and loving girl like you. definatly leave it...he's not worth your time anyways! I went thru something similar...lived with him...was at work, came home and all his stuff was gone...left a note "i've decided to move out..call me" and i called him told him he was spineless, needed to grow some balls and be a man...if they can't talk to us face to face, then they're less of a man and need to grow the hell up! so..def leave it be!
