kill the dogs, and then the wildlife protestors and the hell with it kill everything in ear shot.

If its dogs barking try ear plus and eye patches.
If you are having sleeping trouble as in getting to sleep then try doing some light exercise about 2 hours before bed. This will leave you relaxed and ready for rest. Also, make sure that you eat at very least 2 hours before bed, preferably 3.
Hope this helps

Are they your dogs that keep barking or a neighbors? If they are your dogs they might want to sleep near you and not be outside. If they are a neighbors i would make sure there is no animal neglect and either talk to your neighbor or call the police. If you are still having trouble sleeping I would then go to a doctor or try the ear plugs.

who's dogs are barking, and why... finding out this info will be benificial to an answer. if they are your dogs, you need better control of your house hold. If they are someone elses dogs, first talk to them, second call animal control.
If you sleep during the day (work 3rd shift?) Put up comforters over your windows, to muffle out some sound, and keep out light. If you have to do the above steps...

Quite often, our sleeping patterns mirror our day time behaviour.
Do you have anything stressing you out - if so, get it sorted!!
Do you nap in the day - if so try not too.
Are you active enough during the day - if not, then get walking, or find a hobby.
Don't excersise at night it can wake you up.
Drink a nice hot chocolate before bed, relax and wind down.
Make sure your bedroom is clean tidy and clutter free.
Dont read in bed. Bed is for sleeping!!
Good luck.

if there is any way at all to keep your dog quiet...
i've had problems before sleeping; waking and then getting back sleep. the best advice i got was when i woke up, to get straight out of bed and do dishes, or ironing or anything not enjoyable. dont lay awake in bed waiting for sleep. you find you get tired quickly and eventually your mind learns that if you wake, its going to be unpleasant!!

I need help sleeping as I have moved close to a main road and the traffic keeps me up.
Camomile tea, eating early (but not so early that you get hungry when you get in bed) or if all else fails a big bottle of vodka.
I hope that you get it sorted out soon, as its miserable not being able to sleep isn't it?

Not sure of all your specifics, but crating them up at night might quiet them down. I have 7 dogs, and kennel up 4 of them in the bedroom with me. When they kenney up, that means bedtime and they go right to sleep. I never hear a peep out of them until the alarm goes off in the morning. Hope you figure something out. :)

Put your dog's basket in a room furthest from your bedroom and put the dog in there to sleep and close the door, (My dog loves being locked in the bathroom in his basket overnight).
Listen to a Paul McKenna deep relaxation tape with earphones in bed.
Whilst lying in bed trying to get to sleep, try repeating a sentence to yourself over and over like "I am feeling really relaxed and sleepy" .
If it is neighbours' dogs, you could get used to sleeping with music on low, or a fan whirling in the room. It can distract you from hearing the dogs.
