No, so long as you have a valid VISA for both countries. If you arent getting out of the airport at Germany then you don't even need a German VISA, only an American.

not as long as you stay in the terminal. In any case a Jordanian passport is as good as anyone else's you could leave the airport but would have to go thru security and customs again.

call the German consulate or embassy in new york or washington and ask them if you need a TRANSIT VISA.
you might not need it, but call them to be sure. look at the link to get the phone number, tell them you have a visa quesiton.
if you are not in the us,
call the consulate or embassy of germany nearest to you.
