This era is sadly turning into an era of ignorance- ignorance of the basic principles of mankind like Equality, Justice and Empathy, owing to severe lack of knowledge, acquaintance with half truths leading to misinterpretation, and malicious propaganda towards ISLAM and its followers.
Associating terrorism with Islam has been the biggest blunder in the history of mankind. Islam has never sanctioned any form of unlawful action against innocent people belonging to different religion. Even during the battles, Islam forbade any kind of harsh treatment towards its prisoners of war; in fact Muslim armies were instructed to treat their captives in most humanely manner.

As In Islam, its Holy Book-The Quran lays down:
"Whosoever kills a human being (without any reason like) manslaughter, or corruption on earth, it is though he had killed all mankind" As a matter of fact USA lost its credibility when it used the "Real" Weapon of Mass Destruction - the Atomic Bombs against the Japanese resulting in the gruesome death of thousands of innocent civilians in Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II. Thus, if there is to be any danger to the world due to the Weapons of mass destruction, then USA surely belongs to top of "the league of major threats" to the world Peace.
But Ironically, USA today speaks untiringly of the dangers of the unconfirmed "Weapons of Mass Destruction" in Arab Countries!

The media too is responsible for the bloodbath of innocent Iraqis, due to the propaganda they carried prior to the invasion of Iraq, all based on spurious data of the CIA and other so called Intelligence Agencies.
To this day, nothing is being done to stop the carnage in Iraq. The Arab leaders' failure in averting the unjust war in the Gulf is duly accredited to their shoddy attitude in world affairs.
The lives lost were precious, only Hope will heal the sorrow of the victims....

Please explain the Muslim Web Sites and Muslim TV news casts showing abducteeds in Iraq who are executed on the spot in the name of Allah and Islam and don't tell me these things don't exist or I'll send you to Islamic websites where you can see beheadings and shootings first hand.
Please explain why Arabs want the destruction of Israel and all the Jews out. The Jews have been there as long as you have and in most instances they legally bought the lands that Israel sits on from Arabs back in the 1800s.
Why do Islamics abduct news people.
Why do Islmaics abduct women who are not soliders in uniform.

The terrorists always claim these are not innocent people, yet car bombs kill many innocent people including little children.
Let's understand something no one has YET to EXECUTE anyone in Iraq on a lawful basis.
Not ONE terrorist, prisoner or suspected person, not even Saddam, has been executed nor has anyone been convicted and this has been going on for 3 years now.
Yet Islamics adbudct, have no public trials and then execute people on camera and gleefully post it on web sites and send tapes to Arab TV, who broadcasts it.
I guess everyone here knows who does what to whom.
Also, why does EVERY Islamic nation forbid the importation of anything Made in Israel.
That sounds pretty bigoted to me.
Who are the Infidels. Is everyone NOT a Muslim an Infidel. Define the term for us. Are Christians Infidels? Are Atheists Infidels? Are Buddists Infidels?
Who, exactly are the Infidels.
And the reason we associate Terrorism with Islam is that the IRA gave up doing the same thing a few years back and decided to try and talk things out and negociate peacefully instead of blowing up parts of London.
Egypt and Israel did that, you know, and Egypt got back all it's lands captured after the war.
What do you think about that, eh? What about Egypt signing Peace accords with Israel and recognizing their exitance. Now, to me that's a sign the Allah and Islam really can have a heart when they want to! Do you agree with that!
Therefore, the only organized group of people doing terrorist acts in the world -- and they ALWAYS take a bow for doing it with announcements on radio and TV saying who they are and praising Allah -- are Muslim Extremists and they do it all over the place!
That is my answer, Islam is the last group of people in the world currently doing world-wide terrorism.
And don't say the US does terrorism, you've never seen us do terrorism and we did it quite well with the Native American Indians and Black People. We, formally, are engaged in warfare, with uniforms you can recognize, marked vehicles you can see coming.
Saddam knew hours before we attacked, because we told the world on TV we were heading out to attack!
Want everyone in Islam to stop being pegged as a terrorist, wear uniforms that are distinctive and separate soldiers attacking from common man.

You know what I love? I love the fact that every time those atomic bombs that were used on Japan are brought up, it's always a non-Japanese (mainly European) person doing it. You'd think the bombs were dropped on Berlin or something the way Europeans whine about it. The funniest part of all is that the Japanese seem to have gotten over it. They're actually one of Americas closest allies, if you hadn't noticed.
The Japanese seem to realize that it was a strategic move that happened in the course of a war that was openly declared between the US and Japan, not a terrorist act. A terrorist act is never declaring your intentions to make war, and suicide bombing as many innocent people as you can just for the sake of murder and fear, in a bid to bully them into converting to Islam(or any other religion/ideal). THAT'S a terrorist act.
As for why I associate terrorism with Islam, gee, it's a real puzzler, huh?

Mulims believe the Quran (hands down) and the Quran + Mohammed asks the people to spread the word of Islam to the world...if they don't accept it, fight them untill they do.
This is what they "SHOULD" believe in, luckily not all muslims practice this. Islam needs a 21st century upgrade. This doesn't mean that the USA is any better. Democracy in the country and Hipocracy out the country.
In short, every era needs a bad guy...
Hitler, Soviets, Muslims and so on....so i think it will all blow over once the States finds a new enemy :)

Unfortunately the media holds this general stereotyping of Muslims and Islam, alongside terrorism.
I feel this is unnecessary and dishonest of the media, as you have quite rightly said, Islam has never condoned or suggested terrorism, unfortunately though some people claiming to be Muslim have stated they are acting for Islam when they commit acts of terror against not only innocent civilians but also innocent Muslim civilians as well.
Lets just hope others will learn that this is not the way to go about getting what they want, and see that they are also harming 'their own people' and 'their own religion'. x x

You have to remember that here in the "west" we are fed what the media wants us to see and unfortunately froma Muslim stance that has been "war terror mass killing"....also recently by far most terrorist attacks have been carried out by muslims.
I dont believe all Muslims are hell bent on killing all us "infidels" BUT you must be more outspoken when such attrocities occur instead of always having a but at the end of your statements, ie: "we do not condone this act of terror BUT the west must blah blah blah"

Ignorance is bliss../but not really. Every era is ignorant in its own way. Take Vietnam for example, or the Germans who voted for Hitler prior to WWII, how about all those scientific theories throughout time that have been believed....take earth being the center of the universe for example instead of the sun. Personally I associate all 'organized religions' with terrorism - - - since the inception of organized religion there have been those who promote peace and those who promote violence. Perhaps it is a flaw with humanity not religion but when people get together to promote a set of values & teachings they tend to get over heated when someone chooses an alternative path. the oldest law of propaganda - to make your enemy seem bad makes it easier to kill them and not feel guilty for it.
the earliest settlers in the west called the natives savages and brutes and wiped them off without feeling guilty about it.
they called the black people of African savages and brutes that made it easier to enslave them and not feel guilty about it.
After the cold-war, the US needed a new enemy to keep its war-economy running. That means making even Bambi appear vicious.
The slander against Islam is nothing new. It started from the time of the Prophet (p) himself. The Europeans mounted a campain of vilification to discourage their people from looking into Islam which promises freedom from slavery to man and material and salvery only to God's will.
Only when strong and independent minded people wake up and look into Islam with an open mind and without prejudice will this problem be solved.
Sad that most people would rather wallow in ignorance.
