My mother used to be addicted to them. Don't use unless absolutely necessary!!!

Yes, it's called Rebound Congestion... just like anything else that you give your body in large doses, your body will work up a tolerance to the nose drops and in time the repeated use can wear down the membranes in your nose. As with any medication, it should be used in moderation.

to a point where you have to have them to feel like you are breathing better.

My dad used nose drops everynight to help him sleep better until his doctor found out this was a nightly ritual for years...told him was addicted and dad had to quit.

u can get addicted to nose drops if u hve sinuses and more over , if u use them frequently ( without doctors advise)

I'm afraid that yes.I know some people who are addicted to nose drops.I don't see why however.

Yes. you have to be careful and not rely on them to breath clearly. I have used drops for many years and get so stuffy if I don't .

I can't, but you, probably. I knew someone who was addicted to Otrivin nasal spray, so I know better...but you probably don't want to believe me...denial is one of the first signs ...
