Do I love God? Not really, I don't have any feelings about him.
He loves me, you say? Odd assertion, that. I would have thought something must first exist in order to love?
And now I think about it, a few questions down, someone was quoting the Bible, where God was saying "I never knew you, depart from me" which translates to "you lived a good and long life, helped a lot of people, but never had any reason to believe in me, so I HATE YOU AND WANT YOU TO SUFFER"
And now you say He loves me. Can you see how I might think that this is inconsistent?

Whether we love God does not matter so much, but whether or not God loves us is of exreme importance. Human love always fails but divine love does not.
1 John 4:10 In this is love, NOT that we loved God, but that He loved us

Jesus loves me, this I know. For the Bible tells me so.
Little ones, to Him belong. They are weak, but He is strong.
^_^ .Voo
I love God as much as I possibly can. And I know God loves me infinitely more.

we love God becuse He loves us first, and it's proven: He so loved us, each and everyone of us, that He gave His only begotten Son to die , to deliver us. our love for God is to be proven by obeying His comandements.
