The Scientist replied he would tell God, Sorry, you did not reveal yourself to me. I read this story long time ago. Can someone provide me the names of these 2 characters? And do you agree with the Scientist?

Jesus to Thomas - "You believed because you saw, blessed are those who believe yet had not seen".

Scientists believe and promote the fact that "all the dinosaurs, and almost all other life, went extinct 65 million years ago". They didn't believe in the Caelocanth until 1935... yet it existed.

Scientists heard about a spectacular animal, with the body of an otter, the tail of a beaver, the bill and feet of a duck, and the venom of a serpent... and they did not believe. A corpse was brought in, and they thought it to be a hoax. Only when a live Platypus was brought to them, did they believe.

It really is a wonder how scientists discover anything at all... it seems as if the knowledge they 'seek' must be brought to them on a silver platter before they acknowledge its existance.

Think of how much life has existed in once-lush rainforests, and no scientist has ever laid eyes upon them... yet they never will because so many species have gone extinct before they had a chance to 'be revealed' to them.

Does this somehow negate their validity to their existance? Far be it. Just because its existance is outside of the knowledge of scientists does not mean it never existed, nor rumors of such a thing be outside the realm of belief of scientists.

To truly say "it does not exist", one must search high and low for it, search every inch, look under every rock upon the ocean floor and upon every mountaintop. Unless you have searched every place, then you cannot say "it does not exist" for a fact... it is said out of half-hearted and half-efforted belief.

Before the invention of the microscope, did atoms and molecules not exist? No, they've existed from the beginning, but man needed a special tool for them to be revealed to him.

So too with God... mankind needs a special tool for God to be revealed to him... that tool is called "faith".

Without the microscope, atoms can never be seen. Without faith, God can never be revealed.

certainly one of those loving, merciful god you have basically defined right here. i ask your self why i do no longer have faith in it... actual, I plan on being reincarnated. If no longer, and it rather is purely YOUR god this is there... i visit furnish him my opinion... and it rather is in comparison to he does not already comprehend it. "Loving, Merciful, basically God.... why the hell do you contradict your self with the help of making a hell so as which you would be able to torment ppl basically with the aid of fact they do no longer have faith in you? And why did you enable people like this one asking the question, to be YOUR representative if that may not the case? And why could you get disillusioned with the aid of fact some did no longer have faith in you while tens of millions of your guy or woman followers could no longer unite on one damn element that concerns you?" it rather is ppl such as you that keep others faraway from this God.... so what are YOU going to tell him while he asks you "the place do you get off telling ppl that i'm giong to drop kick their butts into hell?" Heathen

I don't know who you are talking about but I know what God will reply to the Scientist. Matthew 7:23 "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME"
