I'm a student doing a project on crystals and what teenagers and young adults[below 30] use it for. Do teenagers and young adults believe in crystal healing? Is the concept of crystal healing believed mainly by adults above 30 years of age? What are the uses of crystals? What do you use it for? Your answer will greatly help my project (:

I would say - as far as the spiritual healing arts are concerned...
Crystals are as effective as one believes they are.
To be rightfully - or properly - introduced as a young person it takes a trusted mentor or parent. It takes an interest. And like a lot of things..."blind faith".
I use crystals for healing and repair...not just the physical but the meta-physical as well.
I'm 44 and learned about crystal healing through a celtic druidess 15 years ago.

I have one on my PC right now. Let me just say, it is not hocus pocus- Since bringing this into my life there is a positive energy flow and success and much more. How this all works I dunno, but there are things we humans do not understand- we are not deep enough, not spiritually there- I never took a second glance or thought towards the crystal, I am a firm believer of working hard to get what you want and "If you want it go & get it"- & "If you are unhappy or sad or poor, get up and do something about it"- really I am, but the presence of the crystal has had an impact and I just carry on doing what I do, but I will never argue the fact that there is something behind the mystery of the crystal-The (info from a 38 year old ). I have used it on my son to relax him and it works and my daughter firmly believes in her crystals, when she studies, has a headache, etc...(she is 13).

I am a 31 year old woman who utilizes crystals when healing myself and others. Crystals help to maximize energy transmission and other qualities. Crystals have been used healing since ancient times. Crystals can be seen to transmit energy and are conductors in healing and in technology. There are crystals in your watch, computer, etc.
The belief in crystal healing is not really set around age, more about spiritual and religious beliefs. Though as people get older - they are exposed to more things, so those who are older may believe in it more, but seems like there is a spiritual revolution of young adults turning to inner spirituality and ways to connect with the earth.

It's a placebo that uses the power of suggestion to provoke the body's own ability to heal or, in most cases, to release the body's painkillers, endorphins, into the bloodstream.
Similar to faith healing, there's very little actual healing involved. It's more therapy and shouldn't be used alone (ie: without medicine) for anything serious.

i am a 22 year old woman... i personally haven't come across or believe in crystal healing... never saw it either... but i recently did a pranic healing course and one of the advance courses they offer has to do with crystals... maybe you can look that up... www.pranichealing.org
