It is really disgusting. Why not get a tissue?

there is nothing such as wrong or right its just the circumstance you are in
people might not care if you dig you nose on national TV but the snooty ones will always find fault with you
my advise do it if its urgent and if you really need to but dont be at it the whole time then its a bad habit

What I've noticed is people dont get offended or pull faces, if I use a tissue to scratch my nose, as appose to my clean hands.
It's still the same action, and I do often wash my hands, but my tip is, always carry a hanky or a tissue,and it's ok if you use the same tissue twice, as long as it's not dirty, then you'll be ok.

If its so itchy and its killing me! most to most i'll rub my nose but never dig it right in! Hahaha...but my bf does it... hahaha now im used to it... Hahaha

I've seen people doing far worse in public i.e spitting etc. So you just go ahead and dig all you want.

You can try to rub your nose on the outside. But penetration is a no-no in public.

it is not wrong. if you feel embarrassed, you can use a tissue or use one hand to cover your nose and the other for digging.

Wrong is not the term. Is it good manners. Here in Asia it is done all the time and no one is offended. In the USA it is considered very uncool.

if it itches...try to rub your nose on the outside first...if not, just go for it..i would rather see someone just do it than see someone try to hide and do it. boogers are everday life. just carry some hand sanitizer and use it after...no problem...good diggin' (NO ONE OTHER THAN THOSE WITH YOU KNOW YOU ANYWHO...)
