I would like to disable my internet from running…and I would like to enable it my control…. I have teenage children and would like to control their usage… without the use of some fancy overpriced control program… is this even possible…

i think you can block certain sites, but you can't refrain them from surfing the internet except by locking your computer up. There are some parental control programs out there....good luck

Yes It is possible to remove Internet Explorer from your machine temporarily.
Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add Remove Programs and then select Add/Remove Windows components tab, which is on the left hand side (third one from top).
Once you click you'll get a dialog box where you can view an Internet Explorer entry with a check mark enabled. Click on that check mark and press Next, and then finish. Press ok if you get any one of them.
Later if you want to enable you can do it by checking the checkbox corresponding to IE in windows components wizard.
But i would suggest using a FireWall like Zonealarm ( http://www.zonelabs.com ) which is free. Using which you can stop your internet accessing in seconds (Click a button thats it). You need not have to take the above mentioned kind of steps just to control your internet accessibility

If you wanted to disable the internet. You can took out the cable that is connecting to the internet behind the PC. In this way no matter how they tried they will be unable to connect to the internet. Only when they asked if they can go to internet, then you will connected the cable back. Do not let them saw you connecting the cable. It is troublesome but that the best way to disable the internet

bypass to administration panel then upload or do away with classes. Then upload / do away with living house windows aspects you will see internet Explorer, uncheck this container, then press next, it is going to then do away with out of your gadget :)

I dont think you can control it
make a password for xp or your secuity and control it that way

why not set yourself up a seperate log in account for windows ...that way you can set up a password ...and they will have to come to you to get you to log on each time .....
