it is true (as someone above said) the there are many people that are victims of religion. But there is a difference between being religious and spiritual. I think the religion has warped peoples minds for so long that through the generations, there was a tolerance and belief built that made them think that it is OK. Yet I do have a personal belief in God. I also believe in those other things that others may not...such as ghost. maybe I just contradicted your theory.

Why not? If it is possible to be an Aheist, and believe in aliens, and ghosts, it is nothing wrong with the ppl who believe in God. Supernatural power is for spritual enforcement and necessary for human beings souls. It is nothing to do with "seeing is believing". Your body and mind can accept even aliens and ghosts from the movies (only) but what about your soul? Do you realise that It is a different issue?

Ok so I guess then U must be a alien cause you have to come from somewhere don't u agree? And the universe must come from somewhere or do we have to thank the aliens for that as well, and for babies being born from sperm I reckon the aliens did that too,......read you're Bible my friend and besides tell me why rather belief in aliens than in something lovable, comfortable and reliable...I really think you need to get to a church and sort out your feelings about God and aliens, cause don't wanne break the bad news to you but THERE IS a GOD and you better sort that out with yourself, and as for ghost yes I belief they do exist but would rather call then demons coming from the Devil but I guess you don't belief in the devil either......Cause you can't belief in the Devil and not in God everything positive has a negative pole.....I hope you find peace before its too late....

An Atheist's Error
(Or is it an error?)
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;" -Romans 1:18
The Atheist makes the grave and deadly error of deliberately rejecting the truth! But is Atheism really an error? Atheism is no mistake friend, it is a willing rejection of God Almighty. No child is an Atheist. A person does not become an Atheist until they've been brainwashed by some heathen teacher in a public school or godless university (or sadly by Atheist parents). Romans 1:18 teaches that mankind, even in his unrighteousness, HOLDS THE TRUTH. We read in the Word of God...

"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men," -Titus 2:11

It is clear from the Bible that God's saving grace is extended to all humanity. Man HOLDS the truth at his fingertips. Proverb 1:20 says that wisdom crieth out in the streets for people to hear, but few listen. God's hand of invitation for salvation is extended to all people of all races of all nations. The gospel of Jesus Christ is good news for EVERYONE. If you want to be saved, it is still not too late. If your heart hasn't become hardened by unbelief to the point where you refuse to call upon the Lord for forgiveness, then you may be saved. Ironically, it is the same sun which melts the wax that also hardens the clay. The same Bible which melt one person's heart, causes another's to become hardened in unbelief. The only thing which can keep you from becoming a born-again believer is you. God wants to save everyone (2nd Peter 3:9).

The Atheist makes the foolish mistake of rejecting God. According to the Word of God, there is NO such thing as an Atheist...

"Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools," -Romans 1:21-22

No offense taken. If you read the Bible you would see that there are many things that exist in this world. There is a possibility of many different Gods but our God wants us to believe in him and him only. The Bible mentions spirits or ghost however you wish to look at it so there you are. As far as Aliens why would we be so benevolent to think that we are the only beings that he created in this vast universe. If you think about it that would be putting limitations on someone who has no limits.

Well if you are an atheist - the first thing you should do is not question others on their beliefs !

You should be clear on what you believe.... You can't question a belief ... there are no facts or proof when it comes to a belief - it is unconditional !

I don't believe in God either - but I have understood the principle behind it and know why some think like that !

Why Do you see that believer in God don’t believe in ghosts and Aliens?
Check this out in Bhagavad Gita As It Is..
God Says
"Those who worship the demigods will take birth among the demigods; those who worship the ancestors go to the ancestors; those who worship ghosts and spirits will take birth among such beings; and those who worship Me will live with Me" (Bhagavad Gita 9.25)

There is mention of Heavens and Hell in every Religion. And they are different Planets. So Mention of Aliens is also there.
Vedic Scriptures gives detailed descriptions of these planets.

The fact that people can believe in God is due to religions dealing with him have been around for at least 5000 years.

There's no evidence to prove any of them's existence so I guess you do have a point. But then again, you're an Atheist so why do you care?

in the beginning there is 0 evidence of god by using fact it extremely is better than probably that god does not exist. the explanation why one would have confidence in extraterrestrial beings is with the help of the fact the universe is better than we are in a position to even carry close and it extremely is ridicules to no longer have confidence that there may be existence someplace else obtainable. As for ghosts, the priority is better whilst thinking there is something you won't have the ability to make certain contained in the room as apposed to a pair you won't have the ability to make certain far away contained in the sky. relatively believing in ghosts or god is ignorant and killing our planet. So provide up believing and different than the actuality the are born as area of the earth and we can die area of the earth and the only way we proceed to exist is as fertilizer.

Who said people cannot believe in both God and extra-terrestrial life?

If people are willing to believe God created life here, what stops them from believing God may have created life elsewhere?

As for ghosts - friendly ghosts could be considered angels, harmful ghosts could be considered demons - could they not?
