Only rading the Bible?

No, not by RADING the Bible, but by living it... and Christ promises that all who asked to be saved shall be saved (paraphrased)....

acroding to the bible, John 3:16, "for god so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever beleves in him shall not parish but have ever lasting life". In the book of Mathew Jesus said "i am the way, the truth, and the light, no one comes to the father exsept threw me". the first virse means that even thow becase of our sins we are not worthy of his love, he loved us anyway, so he had is only son Christ, die on the cross so that you don't have to receve the punishment of hell. the second verse says that the only way to become saved is threw Jesus. so how do i know i am a christan? i asked Jesus to be my savor, that is how.
