I had the same problem a while back. I searched for new firmware for the burner and installed it and it worked better. But I didn't have a burner with burn-proof technology in it so I eventually had to buy another one. In your case just downloading updated firmware might do the trick but also check to see if the burner has "smart burn" or "burn proof" installed. You will see this as the burner begins the burn process in the progress box. If it hasn't you will need to buy another burner! Good luck! I know how damn frustrating this can be!

make sure all programs are closed. if the disc is full untick the box that asks if you want to add files later. no multisession. either that download nero 7 ultra or later. i had probs with earlier versions. the new ones are fine now.

Either your files are corrupt, or you need to update Nero, or you may need a Nero plug-in. Was it fine before? Also, make sure your firmware for your drive is up-to-date.

I found out it stressful way that throughout some slower computers you could no longer burn at Max speed and while different courses are working. attempt burning at 4x and disable courses like firewall/anti-virus while you're burning. it rather is sluggish yet you will possibly no longer have a call. additionally attempt CD burning utility like CDBurnerXP that require much less RAM memory.
