seance means talking to the people who were dead by a person called medium in trance. recently it was alleged that seance was done in a school in Lucknow, in India and during that act 3 children fainted. it is definitely an irrational act to be condemned by every rational thinking human being.

A seance is part of spiritism. It became popular in the 1800's to have seances for fun. Many of these people were practicing catholics and christians. In seance meduims try to contact the spirits of the dead. They do this to see if there is a message for anyone at the table. I participated in a seance before and some wierd things happened but neither I saw nor heard any spirits. Could all just be the mind playing tricks on you!

A seance is where people gather around and try to contact people from beyond the grave. It is practiced by different people and is considered to be dangerous by some because you can summon spirits that mean to do harm. I haven't ever tried it, so I can't really says it's true. I know I myself wouldn't attempt it though. Christians do not believe in doing this practice. Best of luck to you.
