well, your best bet is to be sure you know how to cook, have a good tv prescence and are able to pitch it to TV. The good news is, now that there are individual channels for everything people like them are able to cash in because how do you fill a weeks worth of anything interesting on the food network ya know? But you need a theme, like there's that Italian girl (who I like better) and Rachel's show is 30min meals- you need a gimmick. Good Luck! And the other dude is right- a patient and rich person to support you wouldn't hurt!
