how can i have a clear mind through out the day? with no random unwanted thoughts

You can train your mind and there several if not many books to help yo do this. I would not recommend any as I believe this not healthy.

Concentration can be acheived by putting an object in front of yo and studying it without distracting for limited time periods. Extending the time of each period will help you to excersise your mental ability to concentrate.

To have no random thoughts is very uncreative and will make you the most boring person in the world it will also restrict your progress through out your life. An open mind is a healthy mind

By clear mind you mean, practically being free of unwanted thoughts?

If I may just ask, what unwanted thoughts are you basically avoiding? Is it something morbid in nature? Or lustful? Or vengeful?

It is entirely dependent on the kind of day you are having, as well as your general mental well-being, and the experiences you have had or you have in your life.

As it is, you may be able to achieve having a clear mind throughout the day if perhaps, you will be able to rid yourself of certain mental baggage, which of course is a biproduct of specific circumstances in your life.

The fact that you have random unwanted thoughts means you are still holding onto something that might bear significance to you.

Or it could be an activity that you have kept yourself from doing for a long time, hence the presence of unwanted thoughts.

First of all you have to change your food habits. You have to be true and pure vegitarian. Say NO to the devils 'alchohol & tobacco sticks' (people call it as ciggartte or cigar).

Daily wake up at 5 AM. Clear your stomach and clean your teeth with natural roots.

Do some simple physical exercise to make yourself bit active. Follow yoga excercises and pranayama for about 75 minutes.

Apply little sandal wood oil on your body and massage for about 15 minutes. Have a nice shower with luke warm water (about 40 deg cel). Never use hot water from shower fountain to fall on your body and head. Always stock the water in a bucket or bathing tub and pour the water with a mug and bath yourself.
Don't apply toilette soap. In case of necesssary once three days apply it.

Prepare a powder at home that is having a mix of all the pulses and grains. This you will have to put three spoons in the boiling water and let it boil together and will be reaching to the state of a glue like substance, at that time pour 250 to 500 milk in it and have it with a couple of spoons honey. This is your coffee or tea.
Also you can have any amount of fresh fruits.

For lunch you have to take lot of boiled vegitables, fresh vegitable salad (without dressing), low fat yoghart, fat free butter milk and some cooked plain rice. Also you may have same menu for the dinner also. No synthetic drinks and any other beverages in the day time. Only you are permitted to have any amount of pure water.

Follow the above for about a month and let me know! My father is nearing 98 years and my mother is 90 and are still in good health and are well respected in our community.

This is the secret behind their success and they always had and have a very clear mind while they plan and execute any matter. There is no hide and seek games inside the home between them.
They are not the money chasers. They are not greedy and curse others. He was a Professor and still he talks excellently with proper expression. Also I do!

No it is not possible. Your mind will be thinking on past/present/future financial worries, love, sad things and several other factors. This can not be termed as mental problem or disease.

The only way to over come this is doing MEDITATION AND YOGA. This will help you to bring your wavering mind to a standstill position and have clear thoughts. It has to be practiced constantly and and after some time you will be an expert. There are many books on meditation and you can select a good one and do according to it.

It might be possible, but I highly doubt it's possible to prevent random thoughts. That's just the way the mind acts. If your ashamed or dont like the thoughts your having then just realize this, it doesn't matter what you think about since the only thing that does matter is whether you act on them or not. Your choices make you who you are, not what you think.

i dont think thats possible... i always have a random thoughts at least once a day and i'm normal... lol... sarcasm...

Listen to solf music or your favorite songs while you are working.

learn how to meditate. in that way you can better control your thoughts.
