It depends where you're from, but usually, if you need a visa for the UK, you'll need to get a separate visa for traveling the rest of Europe. It's called a Schengen Visa, and covers most EU countries, but most East European countries, like Hungary, and places like Switzerland, are not covered by the Schengen visa, and you need to go to their individual Embassies to get travel visa's.
Try this company, Expat Explore travel, in London. You can look them up on the Internet, and they do the paperwork and get the visa for you for £60. It's cheaper to do it on you're own, but beware, Embassies are difficult places to get appointments to get into.
