I am Scottish, I know next to nothing about Latin Americans, I have no interest at all in Latin Americans' (No disrespect intended)!
I would imagine that Latin Americans feel the same way about Scotland, almost all Americans (Latin or otherwise) think that Scotland is just a bit of England !!
So what? who really cares?
What I do know is that that most of the Scots living and working in USA or working with Americans, will be doing their best to educate the Americans on the actual facts regarding Scotland and England, that will do for me!

I would say there is very little presence of Scottish in Latin America. So it's hard to issue an aqurate opinion. I think I migth associate Scotish with English, even when they are not the same.

Your question implies that we Latin Americans lack education and general knowledge, Of course we know who you are and where are you located. The way you phrase your question shows that ignorance rests with you.

claro que sabemos quienes son, donde queda escocia y un poco de su cultura, a diferencia de los estadounidense sabemos que existen mas paises ademas del nuestro. en todo caso no tenemos ninguna opinion en especial sobre los escoses, ni buena ni mala.

Of course we know who you are, and were is Scotland in a map, and a little bit of your culture. unlike the American we know that others countries exists besides ours, in any case we have no opinion in special of Scottish, neither good nor bad.
and i´m sorry about my English it´s not to god

That We don´t care about any other country but USA.....mmm..that is nonsense!
Of course we know who you are, and where Scotland is..but of course we have stereotypes...our first image of Scotland has to be "William Wallace" but we all know that you don´t wear a skirt -kelt?-everyday, it is only worn on special celebrations..
We know about "nessy".....What I wonder is if you still thinking that all mexicans wear big hats and have long mustaches...if so...well..how dissapointing...

I'm Colombian, and I love Scottish people! You're great!
Honestly, you should try and be independent from the UK.

Most of them won't even have heard of Scotland, and the rest of them couldn't care less anyway I suspect!
