Yes, I had it in both of my hands. The pain was in my wrists and then went into my fingers and up to my elbow. When I had the elec. test done, the doc said I had a very severe case and recommended surgery, and it was the best thing I did. Go and have the surgery. You will feel a 100 times better. Plus you will only be off of work a week, maybe 2 weeks at the most. Go to any Orthopedic Dr. They can help you. Take care and Good luck.

yes,i suffer from it or i use to.then i was introduced to a steroid injection given by my family doctor.the injection usually lasts a year or so and now my pain is completely gone. This does not mean that a steroid injection will work for everyone or will work everytime but it is something that you may want to ask your doctor about.Your doctor will be able to advise you better based on your past and present health conditions while also considering the side affects.
good luck

Try a simple hand exercise of bending back the fingers and thumb individually occasionally for brief relief while at your desk when the pain occurs.

I was told to push/massage the muscles right below the elbow and it releases the pain. Try it, it works for me.

Rest your wrist/hands.
Change your occupation so that you won't use the keyboard too much.
