No every kind of tea is said to help weight loss. Green Tea is believed to help weight loss as it it said to increase your metabolism and therefore helps you burn calories quicker.
As with any weight loss, there are no miracle solution! More calories need to be lost than are gained. That means a balanced diet of carbohydrates, proteins and good fat and some exercise on a regular basis

I don't know about green tea for losing weight but I do know that apple cider vinegar will shed the pounds. Go to http://www.earthclinic.com/best.html This is a very good website for remedies and it includes feedback from around the world. Sam from the far east seems to be an expert and his comments are worth following. Look at the apple cider vinegar and its links and you will find that someone lost 41 lbs in 60 days. While I believe this weight loss is to quick it could be the person was exceedingly fat to start with. You will also find out that apple cider vinegar cures a lot of other ailments and you will get a list on this site. Take the time to read it. I cured myself of gout by taking a teaspoonful of apple cider vinegar to a half cup of water. Another friend cured himself of arthritic pain he has had for 26 years. Another friend cured herself of bad circulation in her legs and feet by taking apple cider vinegar. It cleared out her fatty lined arteries. If you try it and find the taste too sharp either add a little more water or better still add a little honey.

i think that in a way, it does help you regulate and maintain your weight since it helps you get rid of toxins and extra water, and it increases your metabolism. ive been drinking green tea and herbal tea and it helps me maintain a regular bowel movement. i also noticed that when i eat a bit more food than my regular diet, the tea helps me get rid of the extra "baggage" ;)
but just drinking tea alone wont help you lose weight. i suggest you pair it with a good exercise routine, toss in a few fruits and veggies and your bound for success! :)

No because it contains lots of caffeine which spikes your blood sugar and wont make you lose weight. It is good for your health though as far as anti-oxidants but not weight loss

I've never heard of green tea associated with weight loss... but I have heard it was a good anti-cancer substance because of the anti-oxidants in it.
