Say a prayer that it wasn't you that married him or her and then kicked them back to the curb they came from.

I would tell her to go and get f*cked. she only wants you because her marriage is going down hill. she isnt in love with you because if she ever was she wouldnt have left you 3 days before you were meant to marry her. Look at her the way she is today... in a bad marriage, it could have been you. So be happy she did run away from you all those years ago.

Tell the person they missed their chance and to find someone else to save them from their wreck of a marriage. What would be the point of taking this person back when any trust you had is destroyed anyways.

I'd ask for for an explanation that was 9 years overdue - then I'd tell her to get lost. Sounds to me like she's earned a sour marriage, and that you would deserve better.

On the first go round, I'd like to be as classy as that lady right now in the news who got jilted and turned the reception into a fundraiser for charities.
On the second part, I'd say, "Aw, helllllll no."

why ask the question when you know the answer?
that love of your life was 9 years ago... haven't you learned to love the girl you have now..
if not, dont you think she is not the same person you know (people change you know.)
and if ever she defense her so-called love for you and says this: " i had sour marriage because i was thinking and loving only you" come to me baby please, i love you........."
think! think! think! why 9 years?
is it worth it to trade the girl you have now & who stays to you until now to the person who betrayed you 9 years ago?
i know its a bit confusing but giving in to your passion can sometimes creates problem you dont want to blame yourself later on.

After awhile of heart & soul hurt,I would have searched inside myself & begin to feel joy.WOW,IT WAS BETTER TO REALIZE WHAT A SCUM BAG SHE WAS BEFORE VOWING YOUR LOVE TO THE IDJIT! The nine years later trip,if it were me ,I'd give her a beautiful smile, with a tad bit of a heckle laugh,Turn around, walk away, never letting her enter your thoughts again! STAY NICE! SKANKS LIKE HER DON'T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE SUCH. .

I will cry first and then thank God (much later) for allowing this to happen before and not after we were married.

9 years????? Arent you with someone else now?
If not and you want to risk her breaking your heart again then be my guest.
What she did is pretty unforgivable in my book, she is probably stil on the rebound too.
