I am so angry from reading about this jerk that I could just scream.
What he did to you is completely inappropriate, and the thing that upsets me is that it has harmed you--you yourself said you had to throw out the shirt you were wearing and that it keeps replaying in your mind. I shudder to think of what he has said or done to other women.
You need to report him to someone who can do something about it. I know that just opens up a can of worms, and may be very difficult for you, but I think he assaulted you verbally. You wouldn't put up with a medical professional calling you a c***, so why put up with one talking like that about your breasts? What he did is reprehensible. He was counting on you being shocked into silence. Please talk to your husband to get some support, and then report this jerk.
Just so you know, I have actually had a chiropractor mention my breasts, but his comments were strictly professional. It was during his assessment, and all he said, very calmly, was "Your bosom is quite large, but I see no curvature in your upper spine because of it. Do be sure and watch for pain, as some busty women can develop it". I did not feel it was an inappropriate comment, as he was assessing my spine at the time. I have had other medical professionals comment on it, and other than GYNs, who naturally have to be more involved with breasts because they do breast exams, etc., the only comments I have ever heard were about the back problems some women can develop from being busty, and I have never heard a word other than bosom, bust, or breast.
I am really sorry this happened to you. I hope that you will be able to stop feeling badly about it, and I hope you will be able to muster the courage to do something about this charlatan in a white jacket.

You were correct to feel uncomfortable around him.
It was very unprofessional and in bad taste.
You should go back and let him have your opinion.
You will feel better about yourself for telling him off and he needs to know he will not get away with that.
I once was made to feel very bad by a dentist. I fumed over the way he treated me for months. One day I got mad enough to go back and read him a riot act. TOO LATE, he had retired and moved to Arizona. So I never got closure on that issue.
Hey girl, go back and tell off that bone crunching, insensitive clod.
EDIT..... The more I thought about this the madder I got, you should get yourself worked up and go back there and CHEW HIS *SS! Threaten to report him if you ever hear of such a thing with any other patient.

it is really inappropriate behavior. it doesn't matter what profession he is in it does not give anyone the right to make remarks like that. it is a form of abuse and you should not have had to put up with it. my advise is to report it and don't let it happen to anyone else, he could take things further if no one does anything about it.
anyway another bit of advise my doctor would not let me go anywhere near a chiropractor as he said they would only worsen the situation be careful.

I'm no doctor, but I'd say his comments are completely out of line. Just that he used the words "t**ts" alone, is reason enough to speak up.. but obviously his whole approach was out of line. Even if he was say, a plastic surgeon, there's still a manner of speaking apporpriately. I'd say find a new doctor. Good luck!

Could be worse.
One Dr once told my partner that the best thing she could do would be to throw herself off the top of the local supermarket.
Needless to say he is no longer with the practice.

yeah.... Geez.
Doctors should never use slang, particularly when discussing sensitive parts of the body. End of story.
It's so rediculous that it sounds like a Teret Syndrome outburst!

Yes it was wrong for him to say that. But then again chiropractors are not real doctors, are they?
