Why am I not accepted?

I am Japanese/black and I cannot be accepted by eathier race and i get teased alot what do ido?

The normal people have very stereotyped ideas and anything other than what they think is normal is strange to them. Merely shows their lack of education. So forget these idiots and get on with your life. I am sure that u will find some good friends as the world has a lot of good people - thank God for that.

The Japanese are probably jealous because you have big bazooms and the blacks are jealous because you don't need a nose job. lol

They must see something special in you, not to mention that true racial crosses are stronger genetically. Teasing either comes from a bonding exchange among equals, or an attempt to deny ones inferiority.

In other words, teasing can be good or bad. You must be mature enough to know the difference and act accordingly.

If the teasing is all negative, you need to find another spot on the globe. I am sure that you have not been completely rejected by both ethnic groups. There are to many great human beings in both races for that to ever happen.

To some degree, every single race, creed and colour is xenophobic or racist. It is an inbuilt thing stemming from our tribal instincts. In the caveman days, if someone didn't belong to your tribe they were not accepted, thereby keeping the tribe pure (or inbred depending on the way you look at it).

These days we are so much more integrated. Mixing the blood is far healthier for the human race, we are stronger, bigger, healthier because of it. Look at dogs, mongrels are much healthier and well-adjusted than pedigrees - same in humans.

Where I live, there is a small village in the mountains where everybody looks the same, most of them have a mental or physical handicap of some kind - that is the legacy of in-breeding.

Now look at Brazilians - they are very racially intermixed and are considered the most beautiful people in the world.

Celebrate who you are, I imagine the combination of Japanese and Black to be quite beautiful. The teasing will stop eventually. Acceptance may take longer, but the most important thing is that you accept and love who you are.

my daughter is black, white european, and asian and had some problems in school when she was very young. i just changed schools. after that she had no problems and everyone loves her. i got teased a lot for being part asian and having "chinese eyes" (although they used worse words to describe me) but when i got older and got away from those people, everyone admired that about me. people that tease you are just jealous, they have no life, and they are assholes. you may not be able to change your circumstances right now but bear in mind that there are places everwhere that such behavior is not tolerated because you are cool and you just need to find those other cool people, which you will see is not really that hard after all, once you get the chance. and that place will be much more interesting and cool than those people that are teaasing you.

You have to accept and love yourself first. Other people respond to you accordingly. You cannot please all the people all the time. So don't waste your time or energy worrying about being accepted by anyone. Life is too short to let this issue interfere with living a happy and productive life. Let it go!! There is always someone in this big world who will accept you just as you are. So go out into the world and love you and enjoy this life that God has given you and everything will fall into place.

Sounds like you are not meeting the right people. Be the beautiful person that you are and proud of the fact that you represent two incredible cultures. You do not have to prove anything to anybody. If people are not accepting you, it is their loss, accept and love yourself and your heritage. Be open to meeting new people. When people tease you, smile at them and say, "don't hate." and then walk off. Being unique is challenging at time (been there, did that) with time you will find that your uniqueness is like a diamond or a rare flower...soooo..be who you are and know that people tend to tease people they envy. Some of the most beautiful women in the world are mixed races! I am guessing you are pretty young if you get "teased". Surround yourself with people who like you for who you are. I bet in a few years some of the boys who are teasing you now will be drooling over you. (Date the ones who didn't!!) ;)

Keep your chin up. Most of us were teased for 1 reason or another. (I was a fat kid with really curly hair!) It gets better, I promise.

You have to accept yourself first and then you will feel the acceptance of the whole environment that sorrounds you. Just appreciate whom you are and that you are a beautiful/handsome Japanese/Black and then it will come automatically. If they tease you then smile from your heart and tell them a big thank you. first of all pls stop thinking that u r not accepted. i think u r just great, so STOP having this complex and boost up ur self esteem. stop it NOW.
secondly, whn ppl tease u let them do it, u laugh wiyth thm aswell. in no time they will stop teasing u. let thm have fun, just dont allowit at ur cost. b little more patient and let go of thngs which u r not responsible for.

thirdly, hunt on ur talent and master that. be it dance, music, studies, sports.any thing on earth. u master it and then see ppl will look upto u anyway.

it's jsut the way ppl are and think, it's not your fault that you were brought up this way, you jsut have to make the bst of it....impress them with a talent that you have, get a good comeback that will shut them up when they tease you....most importantly , ask them why they have such a big problem with it...if they cant answer, well, then theres nothing to worry about, they are jsut jealous that they dotn look as good as you do
