I would dump him. Trust me---he's going to do it to you eventually if you don't and he will use the 'Hell no, I don't want kids and no I'm not getting married to you' comments to do it. He will make you feel like an idiot for not paying attention to him when he said it, even if he whispered it in a different language and it was barely audible. Guys that do the double-meanings like this ALWAYS do this to alleviate his guilt in the end. Him even saying he doesn't want to have kids when he's around other people (although he says he wants them in private to you) is his way of creating a 'get out of jail free' card to bail on the relationship. So with that, he's starting to distance himself. Trust me...he will slap you in the face with the, "Don't you remember I always said I didn't want kids and don't want to get married?" comments as if you're a moron for not listening. Nevermind the fact he privately says something different to you----he will ignore it. He's messing with your mind. You should bail.

The same thing I told my first girlfriend: Tell him to be real or you'll leave. Honesty is key to a relationship, especialy when it includes respecting you and your feelings in front of other people, which he isn't doing.
But you should make sure your being honest as well. Make sure you lead by example.

It means he's not being honest, either with you, himself, or the people in the big world.
I can mean that he's really very insecure, and wants people to think he's "tough" and plays that exterior.
OR it can mean he wants you to think he's "Soft" while he expresses himself freely to his other friends.
Either way, the stories are mutually exclusive, and that means he's LYING sometime. Your job is to figure out which one is true, and try to have the courage to call him on the carpet about it.

hes not taking you seriously. i guess hes tryin to act all tough, but if hes really that insecure and has that little care for you, then break it off. hes not worth your time. if he can be like this to commitment, then what else can he be like this to? almost anything! hes a mistake, just end it. hes choosing his "tough act" and whatnot over you. and thats not the type of guy u want.
u want someone who tells u he cares and atually mean it anytime. u want a real guy, not this coward.
