In echo to Pastor J, the technology exists for a microchip to be used in this manner... and it would fit very nicely with the whole plan... because chips can be tracked (think about the ID chips that we are putting into our pets now... and that some are suggesting that we put into children...)

A couple of interesting things to note:

The mark will have to be accepted... its not something they will force on you... you will have to accept it... or die (some people would say that's not much of a choice... but it is a choice - live or die). This means that IF it is a chip, adults can accept it voluntarily, but children who have it implanted at an early age will have to make a decision to use it.

The second thing I'd like you to take note of is the number itself. While we are use to Arabic Numerals, you should consider that at the time the book of Revelation was written, the world was still under Roman Rule... and so the numbers would probably have been represented by Roman Numerals... here's the fun part... in Roman Numerals 666 is written like this

DCLXVI (DC = 600, LX = 60, VI =6). Go puzzle that one out... do those letters many anything to you???

The Beast spoken of in the Bible is a system. A world wide organization that controls everything. Some are calling it the New World Order. Its not a person.

The number of the Beast System, or mark of the Beast, is your being in submission to this system. When its says that you will have the mark of the beast in your forehead, its means that you are doing or working along with this system.

When its says, to have the mark of the beast in your right hand, this means that you are helping the beast system along by participating in it.

Is it here now? It is in part. It will be soon on line completely in the next few years. A word to the wise. this system will receive a deadly wound and be healed by the anti-christ when he appears. Keep your eyes opened to this.

Don't believe all the sensationalist stuff you read. The mark of the beast, 666, denotes that the un-holy satanic trinity seeks to deceive but falls short of the completeness of God (Completeness is denoted by the number 7) Paul says that Satan appears as an angel of light.

Satans system and his counterfeit trinity (the dragon, the beast and the false prophet, also a beast) has been around since the fall of man.

It's nothing new.

I am not exactly sure what you're asking but I'll try to calrify for you. The mark of the beast is spoken of in Scripture but we are not told what it is. Here is the passage from Revelation 13:16-18, "He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17and that no one may buy or sell except one who has £the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666."
From this we know it will be necessary for any kind of commercial transaction and we know from the next chapter that bad thhings happen to those who refuse it. But what the mark is exactly we are not told. It will have something to do with the number 666 but whether it's like a tatoo or a microship or what we are not told. And no it has not already appeared as it will not show up until after the rapture of the church and after the tribulation begins. If it's a microchip the technology already exists but the mark itself has not shown up. Hope that helps.

The 666 of the Bible is NOT a literal mark. It is the number of a man (6 because man was created on the 6th day, although not necessarily a 24 hour day). It is repeated 3 times for emphasis (like Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty). It is on the forehead to show how a man thinks and on his hand to show the actions he is taking (If he is trusting in humans, he would have this mark on his forehead and if he is acting as if he has put his trust in humans and the things they have created, it would be on his hand.). The angels are the ones who will be able to see it and they will act accordingly at Armegeddon. Satan wants you to believe it is a literal mark so you will be destroyed.

There is a computer code in use, there are different kinds. But
this one is on the back of most things we but from the store. It
has two skinny lines at the beginning. Two skinny lines in the
middle, and two at the end. This is the symbol for 6 in this type
of code. 666.

No. This won't happen until after the rapture of the church.However, having the technology our world has today, I believe the mark is going to be produce in a form of a micro chip. we scan everything our credit cards, food, clothes e.t.c. I believe that it would be marketed as a tool for members of society. Such as a scanning device located on the back of the right hand or forehead containing all your personal information including finance access. I heard there experimenting some type of chip device in China.

I see many here with the mark of the beast, I also see some with the Seal of God in there forehead!
