Salam, Jasmine.
Which country are you from, by the way? I'm an American Muslim, alhumdulillah, and my husband is Arabian. So as you probably guessed, our Ramadan is usually a little different than the middle east. Not much, though. I am planning to try to pray as much as possible, to try to do only good deeds, Insha Allah, and to visit my sisters in the community. Yes, it's true. Ramadan is known for it's special kinds of food that are usually only served during that month, and I do enjoy them. For instance, I love gataif. Ramadan is usually the only time I get to eat them. And the food is richer and more festive. However, this isn't the main focus for me. Ramadan to me is the month when I am the most spiritual, when I really feel a spiritual cleansing from the fasting. I hope you get the most out of this Ramadan, sister, and may Allah bless it for you and your family. Assalamoalakum.

Actually when you write ramadhan you write it like this: Rahmadan.
In Rahmadan for muslims only they enjoy their day from the start of the day fasting then we work, play sports ( but we don't drink water after that like we play sports but not hard very easy) then we return to our house sleep, or reading Quarn, or watch matches then we celebrate it on the time the prayer we pray which is called: El Magreeb and then we say: bism allah el rahman El Rahem means: the names of allah we say it then we eat, drink, and watch t.v.
These days of rahmadan people should not fight, insult, and kill nobody because if a person muslim does the person will be not fasting

By teaching my daughter to be tolerant of others religious beliefs. By showing her that this idea isnt bad, respect it, and try it. If they can do halloween, we can join in rahmadan.
